Supplements and eating habits

Been reading about dietry supplements that maybe as a diabetic I should be taking? Mentioned are B12, Vit D and Magnesium. My hospital dietician did say if I took only one the best one to take daily would be Selinium.  Got given some Saffron by a work colleague and wow that has many health benefits – too expensive to buy though! I should make sure I cut all the ‘rubbishy’ foods first – says me who had 2 walnut whips before and 2 (yes 2) cheese sandwiches – why do I always go back for seconds????? Hubby Neil had a blood test last week and the Dr said that if he doesn’t alter his diet and lifestyle now then he WILL develop diabetes in 4 to 5 years time. Time for family action, not always easy though as we all have bad eating habits acquired over many years.
