I just found out two days ago that I am now a Diabetic. I have no insurance so getting supplies and making sure that I have the tools I need to stay healthy is very difficult on me. I was glad to see a place where I could meet people that understand what I am going through. My husband is super supportive but doesn't fully understand, and neither do I.
Any advice or suggestions on getting supplies, foods, life in general would be so helpful.
I know I can live with this, just…

shooting pains, numbness, burning, itching, and a ache
I can't stand wearing shoes or socks and I can't even stand a sheet on anything to touch my foot.. Like I said today has not been a good day..I've gone from rubbing my foot, soaking my foot, to putting on my slippers and taking off my slippers to just wanting…

The threat we all face daily.....Cardiovascular disease....
September 11, 2001 and we lost 2,974 men and women...over 400 of those were First Responders, yet we lose 2,500 Americans everyday to Cardiovascular Disease...more deaths in one year than all our wars combined....
This is the most powerful video I have seen yet on this subject... If you ever had a reason before to check out the Synergy products, this is now IT.

Need a new doctor
After 12 years, my doctor is not covered under our insurance. I hate having to do this all over again. Any suggestions for a good doctor in the SW Houston area? I don't know anyone in my area with diabetes.
Thanks ~ Regina

The Holidays!!
I want to ask you all how in the heck I am supposed to get my little girl through the holidays without her being able to eat all the good things she is used to mommy making her? How are we all supposed to get through this? Yesterday her blood sugar jumped up to 191 just because I let her have a little less than a cup of ice cream! She is so sad and depressed and I just don't know what to do about it…

A question for everyone
Is there any that does not eat sugar AT ALL?
ok so i know we are diabetic and there is differences between type 1, type 2 and even just diet controlled but we do watch what we eat.
so if we all eat a healthy diet with everything in moderation.
why do we get looks of death when it comes to having something as little as one sugar in a cup of tea?
it is not unhealthy and i could understand if it was a big block of chocolate.
so i ask, am i the only diabetic to…
